Half way down Howe Sound the wind really picked up and made for an entertaining ride. From Cape Roger Curtis to Finnister Island we had the spinnaker up and were hitting 6.5 knots. The time limit for the race was 7:30 so for the first time I actually made it within the time ... from my rating the adjusted time for the race was 6:25:09. I ended up coming 13 out of 14 in my division. From the early results there were 88 boats racing. I crossed the line 80th out of the 88, but with my corrected time I came in 58th out of 88 ... not too bad for only my 2nd time in the race.
