Solo Sail July 31, 2011 Route
15.6 Miles, 3:04 Hours Quick sail on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Achieved hull speed close hauled with lots of wind. Used the traveller to reduce the heel, while keeping the speed of the boat up. On the way back I was moving fast enough that I didn't have to put the spinnaker up to make it back.

14.7 miles, 3:58Great wind and great weather for a day out ... really felt like summer today. Went down to the traffic separation buoy off UBC most of the trip was heeled at 30+ degrees doing 6 knots on a close reach. Pushed the rail close to the water when I hit 40 degrees of heel.

Solo Sail July 9, 201112.6 miles, 3:14 hrsSolo sail around the south of Howe Sound ... beautiful day with lots of sunshine and lots of wind. The patch to the spinnaker held and is functional although quite ugly. I don't think I should give up my day job yet and become a seamstress.

13.0 miles, 2:48 hours Fantastic wind made for an exciting trip out. Averaged 5 knots for the day and several times was pushing 7 knots without the spinnaker. Used the traveller a lot to reduce the heel to something managable.

Solo Sail July 2, 2011 Route
21.8 miles - 8:32:53Fair amount of wind at the beginning, but nothing after the first hour ... several times I though I was just drifting backwards. Apart from that it was wonderful ... summer is finally here.
