Sailing Routes

5 3/4 hours, 15.6 miles solo tripBeautiful day out playing with container ships in English Bay. They are big and even though I had the right of way I quickly moved out of the way when it looked like the container ship wasn't going to avoid me.

10.4 miles, 4 hoursSailing over to Horseshoe Bay with Todd and his kids Kierra, Mia and Harvey. Strong winds in the sound made for a fun ride. It was the first time for all of them and a good time was had by all.

5 hours 14.3 miles solo trip outVariable wind day out with lots of wind in the lower half of Howe Sound and south of Bowen. Wonderful day out on a beam reach into the Strait of Georgia

5 3/4 hours 13.6 miles solo tripHard sailing due to the unpredictable wind ... first there was lots, then nothing, then lots, then nothing ... coming from all different directions ... made for a hard sail solo.

7 1/2 hours 22.6 miles solo tripWonderful day out with a lot of wind ... practiced tacking aroudn some of the big tankers in English Bay

5 1/4 hours, 12.6 miles solo tripInteresting sail with first too much wind, then no wind, then too much win again. Love the water even when it is a struggle to stay upright.
