Rescuing the poor Zephyrus which was damaged (mast broken, keel housing, and had holes in it) ... Took a few days and nights to first get the keel to swing properly, then pull it on shore, fix the holes, tow it to the marina and get it up on a trailer.… more »

Finally we were able to make it around Passage Island ... after a broken tiller, bad weather and just not being confident enough to do it ... we made it ... what a wonderful feeling to have finally done it

Sailing by tell tails ... trying to get them both flowing back nicely ... well that is what the book says I should do

Janet and I went out for a quick little sail. A little more wind than we have sailed in before and I got to see how the lee shore works as we were starting to be blown onto Bowen Island. Next time we will stay a little more out in the ocean.
