First Solo Trip

First solo trip in the Ecliptic ... too much wind for my lack of confidence the first time out alone. Kept the sails furled and motored out into English Bay. Met up with Mike on the Spirit Of Freedom and we drifted for a while.

Winter sailing in Howe Sound on the Spirit Of Freedom. It was beautiful 15 knots south of Bowen, but 30-40 knots coming back into Howe Sound. It was the first time Chris was on a smaller boat and he spent a while down below very sick. Not all his fau… more »
