Wonderful wind and waves at the start, but then it died out and I wasn't going anywhere fast. Dodge a big tanker on the way to Squamish, good waves from that one.

Sunny day out practicing long tacks and gybes with steering by the compass. Practiced heaving to just in case I need to do that in the future ... drifted about 1 knot with the current just like the manual said. more »
